Dogs

Do not bring your dog to the restaurant, even if there is a patio. The restaurants will allow the insects on the patio, but they will not allow your beloved dog due to sanitation and health code violations. If you have tied your dog just out side the patio area, do not ask your server if they would mind bringing your dog a bowl of water. As much as I like dogs, I don't bring them to restaurants. Not cool.

  1. I agree with almost all your other restaurant rules. But this makes you sound mean! I wouldn't mind bringing the dog a bowl of water. I'd be glad to! It's not the dogs fault that their owners decided to tie him/her up while they took thier sweet time eating on the patio. And it would be cruel to not bring water to a thirsty doggie.

  2. I get it, I'm not begrudging the dog, I love dogs. It's more the expectation that I find a bit much. I think the owner should bring the dog water.

    1. Agree. Same with kids they aren't the restaurants' responsibility. Plan ahead folks, and even if not, it is very easy to find travel water bowls for pets that you can stash in the car, pocket, bag, etc. If you can carry a doggie disposal bag like you are supposed to for cleanup, you could and should bring this item too.
